Ingredients

  • Baking potato Maris Piper is a good choice
  • Oil and seasoning

Instructions

  • Scrub and wash each baking potato and pat dry with some kitchen roll. Pierce with a fork and add a little oil on the skin, rubbing it all over. Season with salt if required.
  • Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C/400F for 40 minutes. Check on it half way through and turn the potato over. If the potato skin is crisping up too quickly wrap it in some foil.
  • Check the potato is cooked through by piercing it with a fork – it should be soft on the inside.
  • When the potato is ready, slice it in half and top with your favourite jacket potato fillings.
