- Baking potato Maris Piper is a good choice
- Oil and seasoning
Instructions
- Scrub and wash each baking potato and pat dry with some kitchen roll. Pierce with a fork and add a little oil on the skin, rubbing it all over. Season with salt if required.
- Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C/400F for 40 minutes. Check on it half way through and turn the potato over. If the potato skin is crisping up too quickly wrap it in some foil.
- Check the potato is cooked through by piercing it with a fork – it should be soft on the inside.
- When the potato is ready, slice it in half and top with your favourite jacket potato fillings.
